This hands-on, Global Knowledge-exclusive course builds on the foundation provided by ACUCW1 (Administering Cisco Unified Communications Workspace Part 1: Basic) and focuses on the advanced administration aspects of the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) v6.x/7.x products and client devices. You will learn how to configure the system from the ground up to provide a working dial plan with advanced features such as time of day routing. Learn how to manage a network with multiple sites using bandwidth management and call admission control tools to control calls between sites. Gain an understanding of mobility features used in networks with multiple sites, and learn to configure media resources to enable Music On Hold (MOH) and conferencing. You will learn to integrate a Cisco Unified Presence Server (CUPS) server and to deploy the Cisco Unified Personal Communicator (CUPC) client and deskphone control, and you will learn about Cisco Unified Workspace Licensing (CUWL).

Prerequisites:
 

For this advanced administrative course, you should have experience performing basic CUCM administrative tasks, including IP Phone moves, adds, and changes, and you should have had exposure to the CUCM Administrative GUI. No understanding of router configuration is required.
