Audience

Service managers, technicians, systems engineers/administrators, help desk staff, service and repair professionals, system analysts and integrators, PC support specialists, network engineers/administrators/analysts/architects/managers/specialists who are responsible for hardware functionality of microcomputers on a more sophisticated level than that of entry level, including installation, support and troubleshooting, as well as second level support

Prerequisites

Hands-on experience of 18-24 months in the sever-technologies industry is recommended; achievement of A+ certification prior to Server+ is recommended, but not required

Course Aim

This learning path addresses the topics and objectives learners need to know in order to obtain Server+ Certification. Server+ Certification is an industry-wide, vendor-neutral certification program developed and sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). The path uses seminars, text and graphics, interactive exercises, and simulations to aid the learner in gaining the skills and knowledge necessary for certification.
