Introduction:

IBM TotalStorage Productivity Center (TPC) is a comprehensive solution for managing storage capacity, availability, events, performance, and assets in an enterprise environment. Automated user-defined policies can detect potential problems and make adjustments based on user criteria. IBM TotalStorage Productivity Center is a key component in the information life cycle management solution. Through extensive hands-on labs and instructor demonstrations, learn TotalStorage Productivity Center daily administration and operation, report generation and analysis, and policy management. Students are assigned a unique server to administer IBM TotalStorage Productivity Center 3.3 in a Windows 2003 environment. Practice administering the entire suite of products including Fabric Manager, Disk Manager, and Data Manager and learn to integrate those components into your storage solution.

Audience:

This is an advanced course for System Administrators who are responsible for all aspects of storage management in a SAN environment.

Prerequisites:

You should have:

  • Basic understanding of Storage Administration
  • Basic understanding of Storage Area Networks and SAN fabric Familiarity with the IBM ESS (Enterprise Storage Server)
  • Familiarity with the IBM Disk Storage family (DS4000/DS6000/DS8000 series)

Customize it:

This 5-day IBM course will be customized to your needs and specifications. Eno.com will assist you in identifying those needs and specifications. A word to the wise, there are many vendors of IBM training. They will typically have a broad and general course, one size fits all, already developed and just put your organization?s ame on the title slide. This minimizes their effort and time investment. At Eno.com, every course is made to your exact and exacting specifications. We help you ensure what you are getting is what you really need even if at the beginning you weren't too sure of what that was. We fit the class to your needs. We never fit you into our standard, one size fits all, class.
