Prerequisites
A working knowledge of the OSI model; an understanding of networking fundamentals; an understanding of how to operate and configure a Cisco IOS device; a working knowledge of the TCP/IP stack and how to configure a routed protocol such as IP; an understanding of distance vector routing protocol operation and RIP and IGRP configuration; a knowledge of how to determine when to use static and default routes and enable them on a Cisco router
Course Aim
Building Scalable Cisco Networks (BSCN) is an online, self-guided version of Cisco’s instructor led course. This course focuses on using Cisco® routers connected in LANs and WANs typically found at medium to large network sites.
