Course Name:   iDEN™: Network Architecture, Operation, and Design Training

Deployment Options:   Onsite - Instructor-Led Training

Course Duration:   3-4 days depending on audience background and options.

Introduction:

Unlike other technologies, iDENTM is a proprietary technology developed by Motorola. While less widely deployed than other technologies, iDENTM was the first to bring “push-to-talk” to a sizeable market.

This course, which assumes some existing familiarity with iDENTM , undertakes an in-depth exploration of all aspects of this technology that impact the design, optimization, and operation of an iDENTM network. The course will allow you to evaluate solution approaches, anticipate performance problems, and identify ways of resolving them before they start to affect the network performance. While we can’t get into the Motorola proprietary information, you will learn how iDENTM works, its relationship to GSM (which is widely available and understood), and what resources you can bring to bear to better perform your job.

The standard presentation of this course assumes a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related subject along with an appropriate background in communications.
