HIPAA Training- Onsite |
| |
With Client Site Training, courses can be scheduled on a date that is convenient for you, and because they can be scheduled at your location, you don't incur travel costs and students won't be away from home. An additional advantage is that the class is taught on your equipment, so students are learning in their work environment rather than in a classroom setup.
Client Site classes can also be tailored to meet your needs. You might shorten a 10-day class into a 5-day class, or combine portions of several related courses into a single course, or have the instructor vary the emphasis of topics depending on your staff's and site's requirements. We require a minimum of 5 employees and above.

| Course Aims: |
The Enow program, provides job specific/work setting curricula to address most staff positions. Examples include training for Billing Staff in a Hospital or Department Managers working for a Health Insurance organization. Each curriculum includes modules on general HIPAA regulations and on practice implications for that specific job.
Our HIPAA curriculum is designed to address two of the three required levels of training:
- General-This level deals with federal HIPAA privacy rules and guidelines, including computer security and treatment of confidential information.
- Role Specific- This level includes modules designed for different types of healthcare professionals, including physicians, podiatrists, psychologists and office managers. Specific practice implications are discussed in detail for each of these courses, creating a highly focused learning environment.
Company and State Specific HIPAA Training In addition to the general and role specific levels of training, HIPAA regulations require an organization to provide company and state specific training to their staff. The company specific level deals with company privacy policies and procedures, such as how often to change passwords, how and where protected health information is accessed and other organization specific content. This level also includes training on state specific requirements that may be more restrictive or supercede federal law. |
