The assumption is that whoever attends this class will have implemented the base product and wants to learn how to more fully utilize the delivered PeopleSoft applications/technologies to eliminate the cost of outsourcing processes, eliminate internal systems that are redundant to the functionality that is offered in their PeopleSoft system and/or automate manual processes in an effort to lower their total PeopleSoft cost of ownership and maximize their PeopleSoft return on investment. |

Course Aim
|
| This one-day course will focus on providing an understanding of the key elements in each of the compensation modules delivered with the base Human Resources product. The particular compensation modules that will be discussed include Salary Survey Data, Forecast Compensation, Salary Planning, Variable Compensation and Report Total Compensation. This course will also discuss additional modules/products that integrate closely with the compensation modules including how Salary Planning integrates with base Human Resources and eCompensation, how Variable Compensation integrates with Group Build and Payroll (NA, GP or PI) and how Report Total Compensation integrates with Human Resources, Variable Compensation, Benefits and Payroll. |

This course will cover the content above in the following way:
- It will provide a business process product overview highlighting the key features, functionality and integration points for the compensation modules listed above using case studies, lessons learned and issues to be aware of when implementing.
- It will also provide discussion surrounding how to build the business case for implementing these modules showing a return on investment.
This course will focus on release 8, 8.3 and 8.8.
