Course Aim |
| The learning path builds on a fundamental understanding of Macromedia ColdFusion development to introduce advanced ColdFusion development. Students are introduced to advanced techniques, such as exception handling, using complex data types, and using persistent variables to maintain state in web applications. The learning path goes on to cover code-reuse techniques, including custom tags, user-defined functions, and components. It also describes how to extend the capabilities of a ColdFusion application by using Verity to provide search functonality and by using XML and WDDX to exchange data with other applications and web sites. |
