| To enable students to design administrative structures for Active Directory to suit organizations, design security for users and groups, and assign appropriate levels of access to resources; to explain the security requirements for Windows 2000 computers in its different roles; to demonstrate how to secure non-Windows 2000 client access to the network |
Learning Objectives

Design the administrative organization of the Active Directory to suit administration, security, and delegation of control requirements. Organize the authentication, grouping, location and placement of users and groups. Design secure access to resources including data and network services such as printing, and audit access to these resources. Design security for all of the principal roles that computers may assume in a Windows 2000 network. Design security for non-Microsoft clients and for authentication in general. |
