Adonis DNS and DHCP Administrator Training

Audience:
The course is intended for systems administrators and systems engineers who are responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and Domain Name System (DNS).

Prerequisite
The entry criteria for this course include general networking concepts, a basic understanding of TCP/IP, the Internet, firewalls and working knowledge of DNS and DHCP.

Desciption:
This two-day, instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills to implement, manage, and maintain the Adonis server product line and is aimed most specifically to the complete DNS/DHCP capabilities of the Adonis 1000.

• Create and deploy DNS and DHCP configurations using the Management Console
• Import existing BIND and Windows DNS configurations
• Backup and restore Adonis configurations
• Understand security features in the Adonis product line
• Configure BIND Views
• Configure transaction signatures
• Configure integration with Active Directory
• Understand and configure Crossover High Availability (XHA)
• Understand and configure DHCP failover
• Understand and configure MAC authentication
• Configure user management within the Console
