These courses are the only products certified by Oracle as approved training to prepare candidates for the Oracle Certified Professional program. To become an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), you'll need to pass a series of Oracle certification exams. 1. Visit the Oracle Education website education.oracle.com 2. Choose the certification you plan to pursue Oracle8 Certified Database Administrator Oracle8i Certified Database Administrator Oracle9i Certified Database Administrator 3. When you choose the exam you want to take, get the corresponding exam preparation guide to find the skills being measured by the exam. You will find detailed information on each of the exam tracks on the Oracle Education Website at http://oracle.com/education/certification/objectives/index.html?content.html 4. Use and know the Oracle product you are learning. Candidates are expected to have six months hands-on experience. 5. Take a practice test. A practice test gives you the opportunity to answer computer-administered questions that are similar to those on the certification exam. (Your score on a practice test doesn't necessarily indicate what your score will be on a certification exam.) Register for an exam: Prometric administers all Oracle Certified Professional exams.
