| Course Status: | Released | Courseware Features |
| Course Language: | English | |
| Course Duration: | 11 Hours | |

Audience |
| Web developers who are familiar with the fundamentals of Microsoft ASP.NET and who wish to broaden their ASP.NET programming abilities, especially those pursuing MCAD or MCSD .NET certification |
Prerequisites |
| Experience developing web applications with ASP.NET using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and Visual Basic .NET |
Course Aim |
| This learning path is targeted at individuals who already are familiar with the fundamentals of developing Microsoft ASP.NET web applications using VB.NET. This path complements the “Microsoft .NET for Developers: Foundations of ASP.NETwith VB.NET” path by covering a breadth of topics that are beyond the scope of the introductory path. Consequently, the path surveys a wide range of programming skills, including the use of styles and dynamic controls for designing web applications, the implementation of user assistance and accessibility issues, and advanced validation strategies. In addition, the path also investigates globalization issues - such as culture-specific formatting and the use of satellite assemblies. Finally, the path addresses how to leverage existing assets and how to use server services and .NET components to enhance web development capabilities. This path is aligned with a number of other learning paths that collectively serve to cover the material for MCSD and MCAD exam 70-305 (Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic.NET and Microsoft Visual Studio.NET). |
