The SmartMentoring group offers online mentoring that complement our SmartCourses. Located
in Fredericton, New Brunswick, in Canada, we have provided one-on-one support and enrichment to students around
the world for nearly four years. Eno mentoring is available exclusively to students using our SmartCourses.
At the heart of our mentoring model is access to a team of SmartMentors - individuals who are available 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You also get topic-specific weekly group chats, daily emails containing
relevant questions, help desk scenarios and, where applicable, online labs - plus online assessments that directs
you back to the appropriate area in the SmartCourse if you get a question incorrect.
Daily emails are sent to you every day of the course except for the prep period. However, you can suspend them
for breaks, vacations, etc. Your daily emails can be sent at a rate of more than one a day if you want to complete
the course in a shorter period of time.
You can choose to respond by email, or in the online chat rooms, or use the emails for reference only and not respond
to the SmartMentors at all - it is up to you. To accommodate those students who do not wish to return all or some
of the Daily Emails for correction and comment, the answers to today's questions are included in the next day's
email. This ensures that all students have timely accurate answers regardless of his or her learning style and
have a record for review. This kind of flexibility is key to effective learning.
Support is all encompassing - 24 hour a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Personal one-on-one help is always
available, real-time, from 'live' vendor-certified SmartMentors. Students are also encouraged to ask any course-related
questions in course-specific chat rooms.
In addition to chats, students can respond to their daily emails and ask any course-related question via email
with a maximum six hour response time. These are not 'canned' responses from a database - each response is reviewed
and personally responded to by a certified SmartMentor.
Discussion groups are a popular method of sharing information. Although monitored by SmartMentors, the primary
purpose is peer-to-peer communication - and with thousands of student around the world, Eno students have a wealth
of expertise at their fingertips.
SmartMentoring is available for over 80% of SmartCourses. This includes:
- Microsoft (MCP, MCSE, MCSD)
- Cisco (ACRC, ICRC 11.3)
- Novell
- Project Management
- A+ and Network+
