i.Net+ is a certification sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA®). CompTIA is a non-profit information technology (IT) trade association. Their vendor-neutral certifications are designed by subject matter experts to assure that they cover the skills and knowledge in demand in the IT industry.
i-Net+ is an entry-level certification that tests baseline technical knowledge of Internet, Intranet, and Extranet technology. Candidates must demonstrate competency in five areas: Internet basics and clients, development, networking, Internet security, and business concepts. This certification is intended to help people enter the Internet industry and get jobs in Internet infrastructure, services, and Web-related application development areas.
