About the Curriculum
Eno Home User courses are primarily aimed at a non-technical audience with little or no computing experience. There are four Home User groupings: "Home and Personal Finance", "Office", "PC Maintenance", and "Web Power".
Eno Home User: Home and Personal Finance curriculum offers a range of courses covering Microsoft Works, Microsoft Money, and Quicken. There are also courses dealing with such diverse topics as Retirement Planning, Investment Fundamentals, and Digital Video Editing.
Eno Home User: Office curriculum covers Microsoft Office 2000, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Front Page, and Microsoft Word. Effective Business Writing is also covered.
Eno Home User: PC Maintenance curriculum teaches the home user how to prevent and solve problems with their PC. Additionally there is extensive coverage of Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000
With the Internet playing an increasing role in daily life, the Eno Home User: Web Power curriculum aims to educate the home user in the ways of the Web. Topics covered include the principal Web browsers, e-Commerce, and Internet security. Useful skills like using e-mail and newsgroups, and searching the Internet are also dealt with. |
